Today, we introduce you with another dream destination in India. Nasik is a place of enjoyment for all the fruit-lovers and other food buffs around the world. When our train has reached just a few kilometers away from the station, we see a lot of grape-garden along the side of the train –lines and it looks like a heaven. The fruit’s gardens are full of various fruit-trees like apples and some best variety of pomegranates.

The river, Godavari divides the city in to two parts and some small hill-caves surrounded the city also.

According to archeological survey, it was found that these caves were built in first or second century in the year of our Lord. These were actual Buddhist’s pagodas and there were more then 24 such caves were found by the archeologists. Not starting from No.1 we just enter into the No. 10 cave. The caves are full of various ancient idols and the walls are decorated by Ditty of Indian Kings. The darkness of other caves makes them more mystifying. The cave no. 17 is known as ‘Demetrious cave’ according to an Indo-Greek Goddess.

It is so clean and beautifully decorated that it seems to be a holy place. The cave no. 18 is a fantastic example of the best antique collection of prehistoric art and crafts. This is known as ‘the dream of stone’ and it was build more than two thousand years ago. We have completed journey to 24 different caves which are full of different interesting unseen beauties.

Some children parks are available near the hills in the Nasik City. It is not too far away from the city of Mumbai. We have to come cross a good numbers of men-made tunnels to reach to Nasik. Ratnaghari, a beautiful hill- station near Nasik is very well furnished for the travelers. In our way to Goa we stopped at that station and it was a full-moon night. It is a famous place in India for fruits storage and sea-foods and fruits like coconuts, bananas, pineapples and a special variety of juicy mangos are available in abandons. We bought some fresh fruit Juice from the station- vendors and they suggested that it was good for appetite. There is a huge demand for these fruits in Mumbai and Nasik and it is one of the giant suppliers of fruit along with Himachal Pradesh all over India.

Next day at very early morning just taking our breakfast tea we started for Theba-palace, a place where an Indian king named ‘Theba’ had lived with his beloved Queen since 1911 A.D. This couple lived a lonely life in that palace consist of only four rooms after losing their dynasty to the British. It is a very tiny palace but it is superbly decorated with beautiful flower-gardens. The palace is now a museum of antique furniture, utensils and other articles. We feel the grief and sorrows of the royal couple that they suffer in the last few years of their life.
